Our first BEC project started on the Aran Islands over six years ago
With Inis Oirr set to become sustainable energy efficient by 2022.
In those six years, we have learned a great deal about the BEC application process and about successful delivery of the stringent criteria and exacting standards demanded by SSIA, the grant awarding body.
Since 2012, we have delivered several successful BEC programmes throughout the country and are often the first port of call for communities wishing to initiate a programme, in their own locality.
Energy Wise Construction has perfected the role of lead applicant and BEC project co-ordinator.
We conduct and finance surveys to determine the suitability/viability of specific homes and buildings for inclusion in a grant application.
